There is always something new arriving at Oakheart.
We are welcoming new indie authors to our shelves every day, which means our collection of fantasy and romantasy books is constantly growing. From hidden gems and debut authors to new series waiting to become your next obsession, there is always another story to discover.
Check back regularly to explore the latest books added to Oakheart and discover new independent authors from Denmark and around the world.

Our Story
Oakheart Bookshop began with an indie author who knew the struggle firsthand. Emile Sodyte spent years in the indie book world, writing, publishing, and watching brilliant stories go unnoticed simply because they never made it onto a shelf. So she decided it was time to build that shelf herself.
Oakheart is her answer: a bookshop in Denmark devoted to giving indie authors the spotlight they deserve, from romantasy worlds to hidden gems from every corner of the globe. Every book here is chosen with heart, because that is how they were written.
Our dream is to open the doors to a physical Oakheart Bookshop in Copenhagen - a cozy home for fantasy lovers, independent authors, and talented Tinkers. We’re getting closer, but we still need a little help to bring this dream to life.
If you’d like to become part of the Oakheart journey, you can support us through a sponsorship or donation. Sponsorships are ongoing commitments and will remain active until the day we officially open the doors to our physical bookshop.
And because every person who helps build Oakheart becomes part of its story, everyone who donates will have their name placed on our supporter wall inside the bookshop when we open.
Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to creating a magical place where stories, creativity, and our community can come together.
Become One of Our Authors
We're always looking for independent authors writing romantasy, fantasy, and dark romance to join the Oakheart Bookshop family. If your book is entirely your own work, created without the use of artificial intelligence, we'd love to hear from you. We believe in supporting real authors and authentic stories crafted with passion.
Become One of Our Tinkers
We're always looking for talented Tinkers creating fantasy-inspired bookmarks, bookish accessories, candles, artwork, and other handcrafted treasures. If your creations are made by you, without the use of artificial intelligence, we'd love to welcome you to the Oakheart Bookshop family. We believe in supporting real creators and the passion behind every unique piece.
