Refund Policy
We want every book to find its right reader. If something is not right with your order, here is how returns work at Oakheart Bookshop.
Return Window
You may return your book within 14 days of receiving your order. To start a return, contact us at info@oakheartbookshop.dk with your order number before sending anything back.
Return Shipping
You pay for the shipping when you send a book back to us. What happens next depends on why you are returning it:

The book is damaged: you get a full refund of the book price, plus we pay you back what you spent on return shipping.

You changed your mind: you get the book price refunded, but the return shipping stays at your own cost.
Condition of Returned Books
Books must be returned unread and in the condition you received them. Books that have been read or show signs of use (creased spines, bent pages, marks or stains) cannot be returned. We are a small indie bookshop, and every returned book needs to be able to find a new home.
Merchandise
Merchandise (such as totes, prints, candles, and other non-book items) can only be returned if it arrived damaged. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank.
Damaged or Wrong Items
If your book is damaged or you received the wrong item, contact us right away at info@oakheartbookshop.dk with a photo, and we will make it right.
