Untamed by Analise Song

She was hired to kill a fae prince. She bound their lives together instead.

Sera has one last job before she walks away from the Obsidian Hand forever. Kill Prince Caelan Vaelor of Twilight, the fae realm's most feared exile, and buy her best friend's life in return. She arrives at his masquerade with a golden dagger and a plan. She leaves with a serpent tattoo burned into her arm and her life force tethered to the man she just tried to murder. The bond is merciless. Distance tears through them both like a blade.

Closeness is the only relief.

Sera and Caelan must now keep each other alive long enough to find a way to break the bond.Caelan has spent two centuries ruling a kingdom built from borderlands, under a sky he darkened as a child when his untamed magic slipped. He does not trust easily. He does not let people close. But the assassin bound to him is stubborn, sharp-tongued, and, inconveniently, the only person who has ever looked at his power and wasn't afraid. As they travel through haunted forests and monster-filled gorges hunting the ingredients to break the bond, something more dangerous than magic grows between them. And someone in the fae court is watching, waiting for Caelan to lose control.

Some bonds are never meant to be broken. And some powers are never meant to be tamed.

The Untamed is a slow-burn fae romantasy for readers who like their heroines sharp, their heroes dangerous, and their tension drawn out until it hurts.

About the Author:

Analise Song is a former registered nurse turned stay-at-home mom who was advised to pick up a hobby while dealing with postpartum anxiety. She chose writing among the other 27 hobbies she has.

It did absolutely nothing to help her anxiety and now several fictional characters are also suffering.

She lives in an urban setting with her two kids, one husband, one chaotic Goldendoodle, six chickens, three ducks, five hundred book boyfriends, and five fish tanks.

When she’s not managing her ever-growing list of hobbies (of which there are far too many), she can be found writing stories filled with dangerous magic, complicated characters, and emotionally questionable choices.
