Pitty by Inken Bermann

Rosemary:

My life is perfect. I have the perfect best friend, the perfect family, and the perfect career laid out ahead of me.

Still, when the troublesome crush I had in high school forces his way back into my life, I can’t help but fall all over again.

Ezekiel’s charm and determination to win me over makes me blind to all of his red flags. When a brutalized dog is added to the equation… I know I will lose my heart.

I’m just not sure if I will get it back this time.

Ezekiel:

I live with the darkness like it’s the best part of me. It’s a shield for the dogs I rescue and it’s never shy when it comes to giving karma a hand.

Now all I need to do is convince my girl that what frightens her, is nothing she ever needs to fear.

Rose is mine. And with her best friend finally out of the picture, I will make her see it too. Since the first time I laid eyes on her, she has belonged to me.

It’s a Pitty she doesn’t know it, yet.
