Fire Dancer by Echo Fox

A DESTINY DECLARED.

A ROYAL CONTEST.

A GROWING THREAT.

At her birth, coloured flames licked around her skin, flickering over her infant form and glittering in the darkness of the birthing chamber. The Alomancer declared her a contender for the crown. She was sent to the capital and became a Princess of Fire.

At five, she began rigorous training to control her flames, to harness them and to understand how to lead as a Queen. Locked away and safe from corruption, she met her people one by one, each day receiving a new tutor from among the citizens of Pyrrhos. Always training for the tasks ahead; she felt alone.

At sixteen, Kenna stands as one of five princesses, ready to compete for the crown. Who can win? What will be the price?

WILL SHE STAND WITH HER SISTERS, OR BURN IT ALL TO THE GROUND?
